Too Many FRIENDS!

OMG So like I have been having this major issue lately and decided to make a meme to help explain it! Since I have joined a sorority, I have made SOOOOO many friends! Like, too many, now I am constantly having to tell people "No, I can't hang because I already have plans!!!" and now, I totally hate myself for it, like sometimes I can't even make enough time for my own Little.....OMG (worst Big eva) But WHAT'S A SORORITY GIRL TO DO!

Miss Sorority Girl

So just recently our College held our annual college pageant.  Girls from each of the sororities on campus competed as well as other random girls. My sorority had 3 girls competing to be Miss College, which is super excited for all of us. We spend most the week encouraging them and making them little gifts.  We also make sure our whole sorority is at attendance to show are support to our sisters. We had huge posters and made sure we screamed the loudest when they entered the stage.  Finally, after cheering and cheering for each of our sisters for every event it’s time for the winners.  I as well as every one of our stomachs had butterflies and we were grabbing each other’s hands super tight.  They announced the 2^nd runner up which was one of our sisters…….WE ALL GO CRAZY!! Then the 1^st runner up is call which is also one of our sisters…….EVEN MORE CRAZE! Last the WINNER is called that is also one of our sisters…………………………..OMG SORORITY CHAOS !! So this is a great accomplishment for these girls but IT ALSO LOOKS GREAT FOR OUR SORORITY.  I wanna give a big CONGRATS to those three girls and I am so thankful to call them my sisters!

Crafty Carol

We all have that one sorority girl that is just an amazing craftier and her whole life basically consists of Hobby Lobby and pinterest. 

As a typical sorority girl, we ALL love our sisters and we ALL want the world to know it, but for those who  are not Greek what are your thoughts about girls who constantly post about how much they love their sisters?

When I went through recruitment the only thing my non- Greek friends told me was to NEVER do those annoying post about my sisters. But, you are just so excited about being in this sorority it's like a virus that just takes over you and you can't help to post tons of pics with sisters, write on all there walls, and have all our statuses about sisters or sorority events!

Freshman!!!!!

So my sorority just recently had to redo our elections because a chunk of girls that got elected did not make grades. So we had to refill 5 positions including president. This has caused a lot of drama and has divided our sorority. First off our election process takes 3 weeks and is somewhat a pain in the butt. So, a lot of our girls our seniors and they cannot run and our juniors and sophomores that do not have positions are not really wanting them because our advisers control everyone like little puppets and they do not want to be the advisers puppets. So, that leaves us with the new members/freshman. There are many pros and cons to this situation. One Pro is freshman are very eager to get involved and are usually always excited and pumped up about EVERY LITTLE THING! A negative is that our freshmen have not really been too much, so they do not know how things our done or the processes of planning the events. But that is was the older members are there for to help and guide them to success. Well, I have started to help a few sisters out in positions that I have previously held, and what do I get in return…..them being snobby and having big heads, thinking they can do it all!  I had one freshman even tell me “I NEED TO LEARN MY PLACE!”  I am starting to worry about this sorority that I love so much because us older members DO NOT want to help all these freshman if they act like that! Also our whole EXEC is full of freshman!!! So God I hope this year goes by gracefully but I foresee a few bumps in our near future! Dating a Frat Guy!

As a sorority girl you spend a whole lot of time with other Greeks, so it is only natural that you will start dating a Greek Guy! One thing you NEED to think about before choosing you Greek Guy is making sure his fraternity has a suitable relationship with you sorority. It is also equally important to make sure his fraternity has a good reputation.  One issue some sorority girls have is they start wearing their guys letters often, this is a SHOULDN’T because you need to be always focusing on promoting your own letters.  SISTERS BEFORE MISTERS!!!!!
